Sealed Earth represents a collection of functional tableware crafted from saggar-fired porcelain and Cornish Stoneware. The pieces within this range are intentionally left unglazed and are instead sealed with Liquid Quartz, a non-toxic and food-safe water-based sealer. This transformative sealer provides waterproofing and imparts highly stain-resistant properties, making the tableware fully functional and  practical.

The tableware's high fired to to ensure durability. Subsequently, it is fired for a second time within a saggar, which contains a combination of hard and soft wood shavings, seaweed from the Devon coast, as well as leaves, plants, nuts, grasses and ferns sourced from the picturesque environment of Dartmoor.

Dartmoor, known for its natural beauty and rich history, serves as the inspiration and backdrop for the elements incorporated into the saggar firing process. This fusion of local materials and the firing technique adds a unique and captivating touch to the Sealed Earth tableware collection.
